There are numerous academic research and community projects that have taken place along eastern Georgian Bay which contribute to our understanding of habitats, species, and human interactions with them. Understanding what research and projects have occurred and being able to access those study findings allows future research to further build upon a collective knowledge base.
This project seeks to compile a list of current and past academic research and community projects that have happened across eastern Georgian Bay Biosphere. These conservation, cultural, and community stories will be shared on the map, and more information on each project will be listed, including publications links.
Are you conducting environmental research or facilitating a community project in the area? Please share your project! You’ll be part of a coastal network for collaboration, learning, and knowledge sharing.
